Homeowners
Digging in your yard? Let's find what's down there first.
Planning a fence, a deck, a pool, a tree, or a new sprinkler line? Before the shovel goes in, we locate and mark the buried lines on your property — so you don't hit a gas line, cut your own power, or flood the yard. No contractor account needed, and a real person answers.
What we look for in a yard
Sprinkler and irrigation lines. The gas line running to a grill, pool heater or detached garage. Electrical to a shed, gate or landscape lighting. Private water and sewer lines. Septic components. These are usually on your side of the meter, which means the free 811 call doesn't cover them — so a lot of homeowners don't know they're there until a shovel finds them.
What it costs — a straight answer
A standard residential visit is a flat $350. That covers up to two hours on site, which is enough for the large majority of homes — we scan the area you're working in, mark what we find in spray paint or flags, photograph it, and walk you through it before we leave. Bigger properties or larger dig areas can run longer, and in the rare case a job needs more than two hours, it's just $225 for each additional hour. If we think yours might be one of those, we'll tell you when you call and quote it up front. We aim for no surprises once we're on site.
Got a bigger project?
For larger jobs we'll walk the site with you and give you a clear quote up front, before any work begins.
How it works
Call or send us a note about what you're planning and roughly where. We set a time — often same day or next day. We come out, mark the lines, hand you photos and a plain explanation of what we found and anything we couldn't be sure about, and you dig with confidence. That's it.
Request a quoteOne honest note
No method finds everything, so we'll always tell you how confident we are and what's worth double-checking. If you're planning to dig deep or near where a line enters the house, filing your own free 811 request is still a good idea — we're the layer that covers the private lines 811 doesn't. Use both, and you've done your homework before the shovel goes in.

We'll tell you what's in the way. Call, email, or send the details and we'll come back with a quote.
